Information you provide
If you submit the contact form, we receive the name, email, category, message, and any organization or source link you choose to provide. We use it to respond, research listings, and correct the directory. Do not submit sensitive personal, health, financial, or government-identifier information.
Search information
Item and location terms can appear in the page address. The current finder processes directory data in your browser and does not require an account or precise device-location permission. Hosting and analytics systems may still receive the requested URL.
Hosting and technical data
Netlify hosts and delivers the site. Like most hosting services, it may process IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, requested pages, and security signals to deliver, protect, and diagnose the service.
Google advertising and cookies
WasteWayfinder uses Google AdSense on selected content pages. Google and its partners may use cookies, IP addresses, device identifiers, and similar technologies to deliver, limit, personalize, and measure advertising, subject to applicable consent requirements and your settings.
Read Google's official explanation of how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can review Google's Privacy Policy and manage ad personalization through Google's advertising settings. Browser controls can also block or remove cookies, although features may behave differently.
Advertising choices
Where required, an applicable consent interface should appear before nonessential advertising storage or personalization. Advertising may not appear on every page. The presence of AdSense verification code does not mean a particular ad was shown.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell contact-form information. We may disclose data to service providers that host, secure, or operate the site, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect visitors and the service. Advertising providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices.
Retention and requests
Messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, research a correction, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. To request access, correction, or deletion of a message you sent, use the contact form and provide enough context to locate it.
Children and changes
The site is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service changes; the effective date will change for material revisions.
